Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier will be providing an 8-week summer camp this year, for over 100 kids ages 5 to 18. It is important for local families to have safe, affordable summer care for their school aged kids. Without the Club, many working parents would resort to leaving their children unsupervised while school is out for Summer, which could lead to boredom, risky behaviors, and extensive amounts of sedentary screen time.
The Club strives to create a Summer Camp filled with educational and fun activities to combat summer learning loss, weekly field trip adventures, opportunities to be active and try new things, weekly trips to the pool, nutritious food and snacks, and above all, a safe and inclusive environment.
You can help make summer camp a reality for many of Fauquier's youth by:
- providing a scholarship for one or more kids
- sponsoring transportation
- sponsoring one of our field trips
- sponsoring an activity / project or two
As a local non-profit, your contributions will go directly to serving kids and families in Fauquier County. All donations are sincerely appreciated. We could not meet the goals of our mission without your caring support.
